Community Connector

K2 is seeking a Community Connector in support of our Daytona, FL clinic. A Community Connector is a liaison between the community and K2. This person represents K2 values and culture, with the ability to exude K2 philosophy to community partners and strengthen relationships.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Building and maintaining relationships with community partners (i.e. attending luncheons, meetings, updating resources, managing physician partnerships, etc.).
- Serving as a brand ambassador for clinical trials facilities within the local community, actively promoting its mission and research opportunities is strongly preferred.
- Cultivating relationships with community leaders and stakeholders to enhance public awareness and trust in clinical research is strongly preferred.
- Ability to read and understand study protocols.
- Facilitating educational seminars on topics of interests in various settings
- Educating patients and families regarding study participation.
- Entering and tracking all data through database and all trackers, assuring all information is entered and up to date
- Providing metrics as requested.
- Special projects as assigned, this may include data projects or special events and event planning
- Other tasks as assigned
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Ability to work in fast paced environment with excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks.
- Dependable, responsible and punctual.
- Professional demeanor, detail oriented, organized, and compassionate.
- Fully proficient in computer applications used in day-to-day functions.
- Ability to work under multiple deadlines, multitask, and adapt rapidly to changing priorities
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Professional and friendly phone manner.
- Team player with a positive attitude
Qualifications:
- Minimum Associates or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Equivalent experience in the field is preferred.
- Minimum of two (2) years’ experience in hospitality or public health, preferably in medical or health provider environment or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Must be flexible with schedule and have reliable personal transportation.
- Bilingual English/Spanish strongly preferred.
